Petards have been chosen by Vossloh Espana S.A as preferred supplier for on-board CCTV and Automatic Passenger Counting Systems for use on the new 4100/4300 train-tram series.

The revolutionary new vehicles will not only be less contaminating, faster and more efficient but can also function as both a suburban train in the metropolitan area and as a tram in the urban context.

As part of the agreement, Petards will initially supply systems for 6 new train-trams being supplied by Vossloh to line operator Serveis Ferroviaris de Mallorca. There is also an option for a further 6 additional train units to be delivered at a later date.
