We will work with you to create a bespoke training solution if our standard training courses aren’t quite right for your needs.

Petards recommends that training is carried out at your premises, to allow you to be trained on the equipment you will be using on a day to day basis. We also recommend a maximum group size of 10 people, to ensure that our trainer can spend time with participants on a one to one basis.

ProVida 2000/4000: New practitioner

 
Scope:

Attendees will be able to operate and be tested on the ProVida 2000/4000 system.
 
Topics covered include:

• ProVida 2000/4000 setup and use
• Calibration
• Speed measurement
• Set up of car
• Distances
• Best practise
• Recording with HDR
• Replay in car
• PCLink suite how to use, saving records etc
• Practice of different speed measurement techniques
• Test of competence for different speed measurement techniques.

 
Equipment required:

Two ProVida 2000/4000 equipped cars.

2 – 3 days.
 
Location:

Normally carried out at individual police forces premises to allow hands on use of the force’s ProVida 2000/4000 vehicles.
