Safety underpins all Petards business practices
The promotion of a culture of safety within the organisation is one of the key aims of Petards.
The health and safety of our staff, sub-contractors and visitors is of paramount importance. We also recognise that safety is an essential aspect of our products and practices. We endeavour to meet our legal duties for the health and safety of employees and to produce and market safe products and services.
The aim for all Petards employees is for a continually improving system of safety management that drives the company to zero reportable incidents and accidents.
The Petards Board aims to achieve this by:
- Ensuring that adequate resources are provided to meet the strategy
- Ensuring that all of its decisions reflect the spirit and intent of the safety policy
- Supporting the active participation of all employees in improving safety, both operationally and in the products we provide.
