Two major UK mobile CCTV contracts for eyeTrain

Petards have been successful in winning two major contracts for their new digital CCTV system.
First ScotRail and Wabtec Rail Limited have awarded the contracts, with a combined value in excess of £5 million, both for commencement in 2005.
The First ScotRail contract is a full turnkey service offering incorporating; supply, engineering and installation of circa 2000 cameras on six of First ScotRail's fleets (504 vehicles), from 2005 to 2007.
The contract with Wabtec is part of a refurbishment programme for a minimum of 51 Class 317 EMU, 4-car units from 2005 to 2007. The units are owned by Angel Trains Limited and operated by London Eastern Railways, a subsidiary of National Express Group. All 3 major refurbishment companies bidding for the work selected Petards for the CCTV supply.
