On time completion of successful £6m contract

20 July 2007

July saw the completion of deliveries to BAE Systems for a project that has spanned the past 3 years.

Throughout the £6m programme the company has completed monthly deliveries on, or ahead of, schedule which has allowed BAE Systems to satisfy their Customers aggressive upgrade programme.

The company delivered the final Vehicle Integrated Control System (VICS) Unit to BAE Systems (Land Systems) Newcastle; this unit was the last of a series of almost 600 that have been installed onto the UKs Challenger 2 Main Battle Tank and the Titan and Trojan support vehicles.

Lee Bradford, Operations Director, commended the staff who made this possible. The success of this project further demonstrates our engineering and manufacturing ability to take a complex product through the full project life cycle within the highly demanding sector of Defence Control Electronics. The quality and on-time delivery achieved on this product is a credit to our staff and sets the standard for the future.
