When Petards acquired Joyce-Loebl we inherited more than 50 years
of proven capability in the provision of a full range of specialist
engineering services to the defence sector. Our reputation is for being
a responsive, flexible and reliable partner in delivering challenging
military programmes.
Originally established as an independent company, Joyce-Loebl was
first acquired by Vickers in 1977 and more recently by Petards in
2001. Throughout this time the company has specialised in our
chosen areas of the Defence market, always maintaining a high level
of new design and skilled engineering capabilities in-house.
Today the company excels in the disciplines of Communications and
Information Systems, Fighting Vehicle Control Systems, Electronic
Warfare, and in the provision of Engineering Services to the Defence
sector across the world.
