Transport

Our market-leading on-train CCTV solution, introduced over 10 years ago, was the launch pad for our current eyeTrain portfolio. These systems have since been chosen and installed on 5000 rail vehicles around the globe, helping to increase passenger safety and improve passenger satisfaction.

Today, this portfolio has grown to offer a wide range of high-tech, leading edge products for on-board solutions including Passenger Counting Systems, Condition Based On-Board Monitoring, Passenger Information Systems and Public Address Systems.

Emergency Services

Petards ProVida is the world's leading in-car police surveillance and ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) brand with over 70% of the UK's police forces actively using one of our systems.  The brand has also stretched to over 20 countries as diverse as Hong Kong and Turkey to Italy and Sweden.

There are four components that make up the ProVida solution, comprising of In-Car Video, Speed Enforcement, ANPR Systems and ANPR cameras.  However, what has enabled the brand to grow globally is the seamless integration of these components and ease of use to the end user.

Petards cameras help Kirklees Council’s parking van nears ticket target more than seven months ahead of schedule

KIRKLEES Council's parking camera van, which utilises Petards Hawk Plus ANPR cameras has proved more than twice as successful as planned. Officials had hoped the vehicle, launched in May, would snap 1,500 inconsiderate parkers in its first year, bringing in more than £100,000 in fines.
